My 30 Day Challenge inspired by Alex Becker’s 30 Day Dopamine Detox Challenge is actually complete! I actually almost gave up toward the beginning, but I’m very glad I kept going. Even though there were a lot of frustrating obstacles that came up, I was still able to accomplish a bunch of things, most notably uploading my first app to the Apple App Store (PracticalJapanese)!
Success is often not as complicated as we make it out to be, but more so just being consistent and persistent. I feel like getting started is often the hardest part, but the problem is that most of us don’t even start at all. I want to continue to make these videos so I can show my progress, and prove that no matter who you are, or where you’re from, you can set out to accomplish whatever you set your mind to.
Mastering yourself is very difficult. I’ve distracted myself for too long, and I want to take control of my mind. Alex Becker’s Dopamine Detox Challenge has inspired me to challenge myself for these next 30 days. Hopefully by documenting my journey and progress I can prove to myself that I can accomplish whatever I put my mind to, and that I CAN be discipline and control my mind. My stats are at the bottom of this description.

The point of this challenge is to force myself to actually finish my goal of creating my first online Japanese language learning course. I started working on this about a month ago, and I’m not exactly close to where I wanted to be at this point in time yet. Therefore I’ve decided to completely cut myself off from the world and my phone for the next 30 days so I literally have nothing to do except work, read, and study. I know it might seem kind of extreme, but I’m desperate to take control of my mind again.
I’ve been very blessed to be associated with and learn from some great business mentors over the last 5 years, and I’ve watched each of them continue to grow and become even more awesome. However, when I honestly look at myself, I know deep down that I’ve been slacking and allowing myself to be distracted way too much. I want to live a great life with no regrets, and there are so many things I still want to do and accomplish. If I want my life to change, I know I need to be the one who changes it.
I hope my journey over these next 30 days can be proof for myself and for whoever is watching this, that you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to do.
Thank all again for your continued support. Love you all.
